Open day - Experimental Drawing

As part of the open day, students where working on different activities throughout the different rooms and facilities of Outline. Visitors and potential students were encouraged to take part and join in with the activity.
The following pictures are from a specific activity within one of the rooms, where students filled the floor space of the room with large scale charcoal drawings of personal and found objects and memorabilia, to create a maze and seemingly random arrangement of objects.

Many thanks to all students and staff that took part in the activities, which made the event such a success.

Prague: Continued

We were taken along by several Czech students who attend the fashion college campus to see the castle.
We photographed much of the architechture in Prague which happened to be the basis of the work we were set in the Graphics Department where we used the inspiration from the surrounding architechture in the different work we were doing, such as linoprint and t-shirt making.

We also went to see an exhibition being held at Artbanka Museum Of Young Art which exposed us to the modern, contempory and sometimes controversial art scene situated withing Prague which was a change and diverted us away from the older, more traditional aspect of art within Prague.

Prague - So Far...

Images taken from one of our day trips to a gallery in Prague: Vytvarneho Umeni, which exhibited a wide range of both modern and traditional Czech art.
Here, a small snapshot of the nights out we have been on with several of the Czech students we have met as part of the exchange programme. It was much easier and much more relaxed to socialze and get to know them outside of the college timetable.
It's been really nice how much of an effort some of them have made in making us feel welcome and to include us in their culture.

Day Three: First Tour of Prague

Tour through the city, guided by Czech students, who are also on the exchange programme.

For our first gallery visit we were taken to an exhibition which featured the works of David Lachapelle.
At the moment I am unaware of the name of the gallery and will have to come back to you on that.

We were then taken to a restaurant in which we were served traditional Czech cuisine.
