HND Fine Art Yellow Week
The HND Fine Art students spent Yellow Week working on their individual art practices in spaces at Minerva Works in Digbeth, Birmingham. This was an opportunity for students to expand work to larger, more ambitious pieces including video, sound-art, painting, sculpture and installations. After a successful week a selection of second year students decided to put on a public show to coincide with openings at Grand Union Gallery, Eastside Projects and Flatpack Festival.

Yellow week at Outline - Extended Diploma
During yellow week our Extended Diploma in Art & Design group was working on a week-long project, which was entitled "Up your Street". Based on research gathered by the students which was informed and inspired by their local surroundings, the group set about working on art and design outcomes, with the aim to showcase the work created to friends, families and fellow students in form of an exhibition at the end of the week.
Students specialising in different areas, such as fine art, visual communication, 3D and photography worked together in groups on a great range and variety of outcomes. The week was a great success and the work produced at a high standard. Many thanks to all students and staff involved.

Yellow Week 2
In the second yellow week of the year our fabulous Subsidiary Diploma Art and Design students were given the challenge to produce a project created from one of three 3D materials in just three days. Our 70 level 3 first years chose from either Wood, Ceramics or Glass producing design sheets, samples and final pieces all within an incredibly short timescale. All students had lots of fun as well as produced some fantastic work for their portfolios. Big thanks to all involved, staff and students!
