University level HND fine art course

The final exhibition of University level HND fine art students at the Minerva works in Birmingham where students presented their work prior to progression to Birmingham city University. Exhibiting again this year were several students from Brunei ,continuing an established link with Birmingham Metropolitan College.

Final Year Exhibition - Private View

Last week Outline opened it's doors to welcome families, friends and visitors to the private view and launch event of the final year shows of all art and design courses run at Outline*. On Thursday night visitors poured into the department to see the work that had been produced as part of the students' Final Major Projects and to celebrate the excellent achievement of our students. 

The night was a great success and the reaction by the great number of visitors that came was overwhelmingly positive. A massive thank you to all students and staff that worked so hard over the past weeks to help make the exhibition such a successful event.

WE ARE FEED - June 2012 - Summer Shows

This year’s OUTLINE Art and Design Exhibition showcases students’ best work from all levels of courses at the Sutton Coldfield Campus of Birmingham Metropolitan College. Work exhibited is from Level 1, 2 and 3 and the pre-degree Foundation Course.  Students on these multi-disciplinary courses work across a broad range of art and design subjects with their ideas and outcomes focussed in one specialist area at the culmination of their course.

43 Visions - One Essence

Below you can find a small selection of pictures from the private view and images of student's work from our National Diploma in General Art & Design, as well as the Foundation Studies in Art & Design. At the end of their courses all 43 students showcased their work during an exhibition, which was held at Matthew Boulton Campus for one week during June 2010.
Many thanks to all students who have worked hard and produced some amazing work, as well as all members of staff who have helped with the build of the show, it looked amazing and the show was a great success.
