A selected group of students from the Outline Drawing Centre, based at Sutton Coldfield, worked down in the centre of Birmingham at the Fashion Lab Studios. These external events are a way of spreading the outline ethos across Birmingham."That drawing drives rich experimentation and pushes the boundaries of the visual arts."
The students Alexandra Parry, Lilith Dhillon Parkin, Usman Javed and Anthony White worked on a sequence of large drawings based on images of our performing arts students.This was one of a series of workshops and events planned for this year, the next one takes place during our open evening on Thursday, 13th October. Where a group of students will be involved in a workshop called "Project in a Night", where students produce a sequence of drawings developing an idea in an extremely short space of time.
